XAFS course

On 14-15 September 2009 there was a short introductory course to XAFS held at ALBA synchrotron. The course consisted of half-day lectures and a day of practical exercises.

The lecture presentations are published here. Their total duration is 3–3.5 hours depending on the discussion activity. The first lecture (Introduction) is self-contained; the others serve as extensions to it.

The practical part followed the Manual/Tutorial of the VIPER program and utilized the programs VIPER, XANES dactyloscope and XAFSmass together with their downloadable examples.
