I recommend to unpack these archives into a new directory 'Samples' in the directory with the executables.
To use the samples easier, I recommend to associate the project files *.vpj with VIPER
and *.xpj with XANES dactyloscope. This would enable a quick project opening
(by mouse double-click). Observe then some example projects (follow there the
instructions appearing in a message box).
