In-vacuum undulator (IVU21)
The NCD beam line will be tunable over a wavelength range of 0.9 Å - 1.9 Å and must deliver a high photon flux onto the sample with an excellent beam collimation and photon density as well as high stability. For this purpose the photon source of this line will be an undulator, U21, placed in a medium 4m straight section.
