The high brightness and small divergence of the beam will allow recording X-ray measurements in both small and wide angles.
It will therefore be possible to record x-ray diagrams in sub-millisecond time scales that provide important information on the structure and dynamics of molecular systems. These are characteristic of many systems in life and material sciences such as biological fibres, polymers and colloids.

A variety of two-dimensional detectors with good spatial and temporal resolution are currently under consideration that can meet the requirements imposed by the experimental needs.
