Hutch Installation 2008
The beam line radiation hutches were installed Summer 2008.
The lead shielded Optics and Experimental hutches were installed in Summer 2008 by Calder Industrial Materials Ltd. The two hutches share a common partition wall. On the in-board side of each enclosure double sliding doors are installed to permit easy access to the interior and at the same save floor space on the Experimental Hall.
The roof panels are removable and allows installation/manipulation of heavy beam line components by use of the overhead crane in the Experimental Hall. Below is shown the outboard view of the two hutches.
