The 5 MV accelerator at CMAM: Ion Implantation and Other Applications. The Centro de Micro-Analisis de Materiales (CMAM) a newly built interdisciplinary facility located at the UAM campus (Madrid) will be presented. Its main piece of equipment is a novel 5 MV electrostatic tandem accelerator, whose main features and performance will be described. Some applications will be briefly introduced as an example of the wide use and potential of the centre and its accelerator.
