Abstract:
The Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) is an intermediate energy, third generation light source located in Zhangjiang High-Tech Park, Shanghai. In December 2007, an electron beam was first stored and accumulated in the SSRF storage ring. Since then the acceleratior commissioning and beam line installadtion had steadily progressed toward routine user operation in May 2009. This talk presents an overview of the SSRF deisgn, construction, commissioning and current status of its user operation.
