Abstract:
With the construction of more 3GeV third generation synchrotron sources offering very high performance, higher-energy sources such as the Advanced Photon Source is looking at a vision for the future that focuses more on unique properties of x-rays at 20 kV and above. I will describe the scientific vision for an upgrade of the APS that is currently being planned which follows this direction.
