The data network is an essential infrastructure for the correct operation of the accelerator and the beamlines. The accelerator control system rely on the correct communication among all their components. The data generated in the experiments of the beamlines have to be sent to the storage system in a fast and reliable way.
This seminar is an introduction, for all audiences, to the current data network deployment at the ALBA Synchrotron, focused on the singularities and constraints of very high demanding technological environment.
