During a year, they'll combine dual training studies with a remunerated internship at the ALBA Synchrotron. The students will expand their knowledge in areas such as web applications development, design and production of mechanical manufacturing, administration and finance, laboratory and quality control technics, refrigeration and air conditioning, electrical maintenance and risk prevention.
ALBA welcomes training students since 2014. The special characteristics of the facility, at the scientific forefront, make it an ideal environment for students to develop their capabilities. Thanks to the ALBA internships' program for both university and dual training students, almost 30 students are granted every year. Since 2014, more than 70 students have done internships in ALBA, being 5 of them hired afterwards by the facility.
"In addition to training and improving students professional capabilities, we believe these programs are a breeding ground to fulfil possible job offers in our facility or other research institutions", according to Gastón García, ALBA deputy manager and responsible of the students program of ALBA.
