LOCAL CONTACT DURING EXPERIMENT

Your local contact will have the beamline ready at 9:30 h. He will be on site between 9:30 h-18:30 h. After 18:30 h, he will be reachable by cell phone until 22 h, and will assist you remotely or presentially at the beamline if required. Floors coordinators are available on weekdays from 15h to 7h and 24 hours on weekends and bank holidays.

 

DATA REDUCTION, PROCESSING, AND CRYSTALLOGRAPHIC PROGRAMS

The default data processing is done with EDNA fast processing which is started automatically by MXCuBE when data are collected. Manual data and further analyses can be performed on two Linux machines available for this purpose in the control hutch. Standard crystallographic software is available. Please consult the beamline staff for information on specific packages.

 

DATA BACK UP

Preferred way to back up data is using an external drive. Supported formats FAT32 and NTFS. An rsync-based automated data syncronization scripts is available for convenient automated data backup during the experiment. ALBA provides remote access to the experiment data using the SFTP protocol, further information can be found on the remote access to experiment data using SFTP page (internal link).
