The Radiofrequency Laboratory (RF-LAB) is devoted to tests and calibration of many different RF components: waveguides, amplifier acceptance tests, high power cavity conditioning and Low Level RF among others. It is equipped with a complete 80 kW - 500 MHz RF system, including an IOT RF amplifier (80 kW), a High Voltage Power supply (40 kV -4 A), the waveguide system with circulator, load and shutter, low level electronics, PSS, water cooling, compressed air and complementary instruments.

The laboratory accounts a bunker certified by the Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear (CSN) for radiation protection. The modularity of the design would allow the test of other RF systems with different frequencies and power levels under demand.

The laboratory has been used in development collaborations with other institutes such CIEMAT and to give service to industrial partners.
