Cerdanyola del Vallès, 6th June 2023 DocFam+ is a unique interdisciplinary and intersectoral research programme. It is a European programme granted to the ICMAB-CSIC through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA-COFUND) actions and offers excellent salaries and international experience through secondments to worldwide young researchers. The complete training programme includes annual workshops, a career development retreat and industry days, among others.
Young scientist can apply now till 15th July and choose to do their PhD in one of these Functional Materials leader centres: the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC), the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2), the Institute of Research on Energy in Catalonia (IREC), the Institute High Energy Physics (IFAE), the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (INB-CNM-CSIC), the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the ALBA Synchrotron. The beneficiaries of the programme will investigate and develop their PhDs in any of these institutions, with the possibility of doing internships in other internationals institutions or companies working in the sector.
DocFam+ enhances the potential and future career perspectives of recruited fellows. The programme promotes adequate work and employment conditions for the recruited researchers, fulfilling the principles set in the Charter & Code. Selected fellows will receive a generous salary including living and mobility allowances. In addition, DocFam+ will cover tuition fees for PhD studies during the 3 years of the contract. Fellows will also enjoy research, training & networking costs related to their participation in the different activities throughout the programme.
