Technical and Safety reasons

As a general rule, experiments on BL06-XAIRA have to be performed exclusively with samples and equipments described in proposals (academic, in-house, proprietary) and validated by ALBA Health and Safety Office.

What cannot be brought at the BL:

• Samples classified as BSL higher than 1.
• Toxic or flammable products without the corresponding safety assessment and protection system.
• Hazardous gases.
• Illegal substances and/or samples: (e.g. drugs, unregulated agricultural or food samples, etc.) unless for uses explicitly allowed by Spanish regulations.
