ALBA Synchrotron
The InCAEM project includes a work package devoted to transmit the general public the relevance of the science that will provide. The result of this work is the cycle Radical Science, that has hosted a series of debates and artistic performances in Barcelona from January to June 2025. Science, the humanities, and the arts come together in a wide-ranging cultural program about the research that is going to transform the world as we know it.
It is promoted by the CCCB, the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), the Institute of High Energy Physics (IFAE), the ALBA Synchrotron, the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) and the Research and Universities Department of the Catalan Government.
- The programme of debates has been curated by the physicist and science journalist Toni Pou.
- The project also includes Magmas, a project of poetic residences curated by the scientist and poet Joan Duran.
- Artistic proposals curated by the researcher and cultural producer Irma Vila i Òdena.
