2. Introductory meetingThe client will be assigned a contact person, who will arrange a first meeting to introduce the synchrotron X-ray techniques and its capabilities in the field of interest of the client, and will listen to the needs and questions to assess whether any of the techniques could help. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be offered to assure that all the information will be kept confidential.

3. FeasibilityIf any of the techniques is considered to be helpful after the first exchange, the information will be shared with an ALBA scientist to assess the feasibility of the service.

4. QuotationThe contact person will prepare a quotation detailing the estimated costs of the service. The client needs to accept the quotation as well as the associated Terms and Conditions.

5. Booking the dateIf the service is accepted, a date for the experiment will be agreed and scheduled through the contact person.

6. Samples and Safety issuesThe contact person will request the client information concerning the type and number of samples, MSDS of the samples and any safety issues related with the samples or the experimental setup.

7. Mail-in or coming to ALBAThe client can send the samples to ALBA to be measured by ALBA scientists or they can bring them themselves if they are coming to ALBA to perform the measurements themselves.

8. Measurements and ReportThe measurements are carried out in the previously allocated service time. The client will have access to the data immediately after the measurements and/or will receive the report in due time. Access to the data and/or the report is confidential and only the client can access it.

9. InvoicingUpon completion and acceptance by the client of the service, the ILO contact person will generate an invoice which will be sent to the client.
