In collaboration with 'Cafès científics' initiative by Fundació Ciència en Societat on October 21st, Ramon Pascual, one of the ALBA Synchrotron promoters and current president of the Executive Commission, will give a lecture about the many advantages a synchrotron-based research provides.
If we study the matter with synchrotron light we can understand in detail its properties. To perform this type of experiments is necessary to build large facilities such as the ALBA Synchrotron. Using synchrotron light, physicists, chemists, biologists and other scientists can study matter.
