The Biennal Ciutat i Ciència de Barcelona will take place from 7 to 11 February. 118 scientific centres, being ALBA one of them, collaborate in the program that will provide a broad view on scientific knowledge and citizen involvement, which aims to spare some answers to the many questions and uncertainties that exist in this area.
Montse Pont, head of operations of the ALBA Synchrotron, will be giving a conference on Friday, February 8, at 6:00 p.m. She will explain how an electron accelerator works, how we obtain synchrotron light and how, when light interacts with matter, we can obtain information.
