ALBA resumes all on-site activities and the whole staff is allowed coming to the facility. Particular attention is devoted to safety guidelines and precautionary measures against COVID-19 risk are defined and mandatory. They are based on the official ones from the government and adapted to ALBA’s reality, strengthening the risk mitigation. Teleworking is allowed, as well as justified flexibility working hours.
Cerdanyola del Vallès, 29th June 2020 From the past 22nd June, ALBA has entered in the two advanced activity modes (2.4 Development and 3.4 Operation). The facility has prepared the last details for hosting the whole staff since next Wednesday 1st July, setting-up all spaces with the precautionary measures for safely working in the present conditions of the pandemic.
It is planned to receive first external users in the following weeks. At the same time, mail-in samples procedures for all beamlines and remote access for MX Beamline are available. The COVID-19 dedicated quick access call will be open for public access at least until the end of the year. Private companies needing beamtime can contact the Industrial Liason Office, as usual.
