This time we shed light on… how to control a synchrotron. We entered in the ALBA Control Room and we closely followed the people who work there. Javi Bañuelos, ALBA operator, told us about his work.
The program also introduces the Control and Data Acquisition Section of the ALBA Computing Division, in charge of developing software to monitor the status and operate the instruments. Guifré Cuní, head of the group, explain us they role in ALBA.
