With the participation of Debora Pierucci, scientist at LOREA beamline (ALBA Synchrotron)

This one-day event aims to reframe the debate about higher education systems and the role of independent research organisations in developing technical skills and providing career incentives for STEM researchers. It will give early career researchers and PhD students the possibility to express their views, ambitions and considerations on higher education world in STEM fields, which is evolving continuously. Moreover, universities, independent research centers and private sector R&D departments often collaborate with the same aim: to produce and improve global knowledge. For this reason, it is crucial to discuss the evolution of young investigators' career.

This event is organized jointly by UNESCO and the Synchrotron SOLEIL, following a discussion with Dr Andrea Zitolo, Scientist at the Synchrotron SOLEIL, to give a voice to PhD and Post-Doc students.
