The course will help professionals working in the Monte Carlo radiation transport fields to understand the various functions and attributes of the code, which will be held at ALBA Synchrotron from April 8 - 12, 2019.
Registration can be started by filling and submitting the registration form. Two payment options exist: direct credit card payment or a bank transfer, so registration is considered complete only after proof of payment is received. The number of participants is limited to 30 participants and in case the limit on the number of participants is exceeded, a waiting list will be set up.
The course fee is of 440 CHF and it has an additional fee of 1000 CHF for commercial users. There is the option to have a rental laptop for the duration of the course for 160 CHF, but you can bring your own laptop with the latest version of FLUKA and Flair. The fee includes course coffee breaks, lunches, and one social dinner.
The accommodation isn’t included in the course fee, but we recommend you two hotels in Cerdanyola del Vallès with special prices with pre-booked rooms for the FLUKA course. The nearest hotel from ALBA Synchrotron is Hotel EXE Parc Vallès, which is at the entrance of Cerdanyola. The other one, Hotel EXE Campus, is located in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona campus and connected to Universitat Autònoma.
