2015 was designated by the UNESCO as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL2015) to show the society how light touches every aspect of our lives.
The ALBA Synchrotron organizes a new edition of the European Researchers' Night, this time focused on the IYL2015. During the afternoon and evening on the 25th September, ALBA is promoting different activities to showcase what researchers really do for society, in interactive and engaging ways, and to promote scientific vocations among young people.
