ALBA Synchrotron
ALBA makes available the possibility for university students to do an internship at its facilities. Students who are interested must apply in response to the annual call usually open from 24/03/2026 until 15/05/2026. Internships start from October 2026 onwards and receive a gross grant of 656 euros per month.
Dual vocational training combines theoretical and practical training at various divisions of ALBA and allows students the opportunity to learn while they acquire valuable job experience.
In collaboration with other research institutions and universities, ALBA has hosted several PhD students who have developed their thesis (or part of them) at our facilities.
