The Chemistry Lab at ALBA provides scientific equipment and services to academic community and industrial sector for their research on chemistry fields.

The lab is accessible to all users making request for it, since the access is granted through a magnetic card and after discussion with the local contact on the manipulations and processes to be executed.

As a user, it is highly recommended to get in touch with the local contact and/or beamline responsible prior to your arrival in order to ensure you will find the equipment and all chemicals necessary to your experiments.

Equipment

The lab is equipped with standard chemistry tools, individual protection means, standard chemicals (methanol, ethanol, acetone, isopropanol, high purity water, etc.).
