The ALBA Synchrotron organizes free guided tours where participants can discover what a synchrotron light source is and the applications of its different beamlines and equipment.
Select a date and time and a form for booking the virtual visit will open. The form only shows tours for the next 3 months. On the first working Monday in every month, new tours will be offered for the following month. Warning! The application does not imply an automatic booking of the virtual visit. Once we have checked your request, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and the instructions to join the videoconference or to come to ALBA.

Visits at ALBA
The ALBA Synchrotron organizes guided tours where participants can discover what a synchrotron light source is and the applications of its different beamlines and equipment.
Visits must be in group: minimum 15 people till 50 people maximum. If you are more than 25 people, the visit will be done in two parallel separate groups.
Visits are free and last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
To access the visit, it will be necessary to provide a complete list of attendees (names, surnames and identity document) in order to give them access to the facility. Once the visit has been confirmed, information will be sent on how this information will be provided.

Virtual visits
The virtual visit is performed through Zoom videoconference. A person from ALBA staff shows the facility with a camera in a Zoom videoconference. People can know about ALBA comfortably from their home or from a classroom/common space.
Visits last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. To book a visit, is required a minimum of 15 people. You can request a virtual visit with us filling in the following form, proposing a date and time and we will evaluate the fit of the request within our calendar.
