Nanomedicine is one of the strong points of research in Catalonia, being the pioneer region of Spain in this field. Furthermore, it has a growing number of biotech, chemical and Pharmaceutical companies in the area that are prioritizing nanotech research and applications. Within Campus d’Excelencia Internacional (CEI) of the UAB, nanomedicine is a priority area of knowledge.
