This workshop is 

an ALBA initiative co-funded by ALBA and the Grupo Especializado en Nanociencia y Materiales Moleculares from the Real Sociedad Española de la Química (RSEQ) and the Real Sociedad Española de la Física (RSEF)

This scientific activity will be held at the ALBA Synchrotron Light Source in Cerdanyola del Vallès, near Barcelona, and will consist of a two day meeting at the end of this year, starting on November 13th and finishing on November 14th.

During the first day the attendants will learn about synchrotron radiation and the current experimental endstations at ALBA and will get a complete overview of all the experimental possibilities from all, the current beamlines and the future ones.

On the second day, a poster exhibition will take place, where the attendants will give an overview of their main research topics in order to discuss with ALBA scientific staff about the different techniques that the synchrotron can offer to fulfill their scientific objectives. After that, those interested will visit the current beamlines at the ALBA Experimental Hall.
