The European Researchers' Night takes place every year all over Europe and beyond the last Friday of September.

The activities organized by the ALBA Synchrotron  are focused on improving the image of scientists - showing the impact of their research in our everyday life - and encouraging young people to embark on scientific careers – demonstrating that science can be fun -.

The events are supported by the European Commission as part of the 

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions

, which is an EU programme to boost European research careers.
