As part of the evaluation system of the Experiments Division in 2014, a contest was organized among the staff of the Experiments division.

These awards consist of three categories. In this event, the winners will make a brief description of their results.

• To the best experiment:

Synthesis and characterization of atomically flat cobalt ferrite single crystals down to nanometer thickness - CIRCE Beamline, PEEM endstation, speaker: Lucía Aballe

• To the best instrumental development:

BL04-Compact fast spinner for powder diffraction endstation of MSPD - MSPD beamline, speaker: Francesc Farré

• To the best publication:

BL24-Influence of the support on surface rearrangements of bimetallic nanoparticles in real catalysts - CIRCE beamline, NAPP endstation, speakers: Carlos Escudero and Virginia Pérez-Dieste
