The group of Dr. Oriol Gallego, from the UPF-PRBB (Pompeu Fabra-Parc de Recerca Biomèdica BCN) is going to visit ALBA to tell us their advances with the PICT technique. This technique allows to decipher the conformation of large macromolecular complexes in situ (in living cell).
The scale of study of this technique falls in the resolution range between crystallography techniques (XALOC) and soft X-ray microscopy (MISTRAL), and similar to BioSAXS.

• 12.30 h  Talk Eva Pereiro: Locating specific structures or events in cells by correlative cryo 3D X-ray imaging
• 13.00 h  Discussion: links between SXM, PICT and MX (and BioSAXS)
