Pep Vidal 

has recently finished his PhD in Physics, co-directed by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Josep Nicolás (ALBA Synchrotron). 

He also is the winner of the Miquel Casablancas award, in the category "Publications".

In this event, Pep Vidal is presenting his artist book about his thesis. In a roundtable, Pep Vidal and Juan Canela (independent art commisioner), Anna Pahissa (founder of Multiplos) and Josep Nicolás (responsible of Optics and Metrology at ALBA Synchrotron) will discuss if a Physics thesis can be an artist book.

The event will also include a visit to ALBA's facilities.
