On the 11th, 16th and 18th November, the ALBA Synchrotron and the Catalunya-La Pedrera Foundation are organizing a couse where teachers can expand their knowledge of synchrotron light and its properties. The course, recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya, combines theory and practice, materials and examples to use with students in the classroom and a visit to ALBA.

Registration has been open for the course "ALBA: a light to see the invisible" addressed to high school teachers who wish to broaden their knowledge about synchrotron light and its properties.

Organized by the ALBA Synchrotron and the Catalunya-La Pedrera Foundation, the course explores the physical principles behind the synchrotron light and its application in different scientific disciplines, including practical activities for students.

It will be held on the 11th, 16th and 18th November from 16:00 to 20:00 h with a total duration of 15 hours and  it is recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
