TANGO Controls is an open-source control system toolkit widely used at large-scale scientific facilities and research infrastructures like particle accelerators, laser facilities or telescopes to control instrumentation, hardware and software systems. The annual community meeting provides a forum for developers, users and facility operators to share experiences, discuss ongoing developments and define future directions for the ecosystem.

The program of the event included sessions on core TANGO components, community-developed tools and applications, ecosystem developments, user interfaces and roadmap discussions. Participants could also attend satellite workshops dedicated to Archiving and Databases, and Sardana, the open-source software suite for scientific instrumentation developed within the TANGO ecosystem.

During the event, participants also had the opportunity to visit the ALBA Synchrotron to know in more detail how the facility works and the different beamlines and scientific instruments available.
