Last 30th November, Caterina Biscari, director of the ALBA Synchrotron, received at the embassy of Italy in Madrid the recognition "Ufficiale dell'Ordine della Stella d'Italia" for her role in promoting and improving the relationship between Italy and Spain. 

The award "Ufficiale dell'Ordine della Stella d'Italia" (Order of the Star of Italy) is given by the President of the Italian Republic to Italian citizens who live abroad or foreigners who benefit the relationship of Italy with other countries.
