She came accompanied by the Secretary of Universities and Research, Francesc Xavier Grau, and the general secretary of Business and Knowledge, Marta Felip.

During her visit, Caterina Biscari presented the main results of the operation of ALBA as well as the future plans in the coming years. They also had the opportunity to visit the experimental hall and two beamlines with some members of the ALBA management board.

Apart from having knowledge of the different instruments, they could also exchange some ideas with users at the BOREAS beamline and get real insights of the benefits for the scientific community of using ALBA.
