For 25 years Sant Quirze del Vallès, a village located near the ALBA Synchrotron, organizes the Mussol awards to recognize different personalities from the social and cultural sectors. Together with Caterina Biscari, the comedian Quim Masferrer, the association Proactiva Open Arms and the school El Turonet were awarded in this edition.

 

On Saturday 29th April at 20:00 the 25th edition of the Mussols awards took place in Sant Quize del Vallès. In this ocassion, Caterina Biscari, director of the ALBA Synchrotron, was given one of the Mussols 2017. Also the comedian Quim Masferrer, the association Proactiva Open Arms and the school El Turonet were awarded. 

A "mussol" (owl in English) is the mascot of Sant Quirze del Vallès, a village located 10 kilometres from the ALBA Synchrotron. The aim of these awards is to highlight the work done by people working in areas promoting a positive impact in society as a whole.
