On 19th April, the Jove Orquestra de Cerdanyola (JOC) organized a concert at ALBA's premises. The event gathered around 600 people who enjoyed music from Edward Elgar, Jean Sibelius and Edvar Grieg.

Science and music were sharing scenario during the concert of the Jove Orquestra de Cerdanyola (JOC). The ALBA's warehouse –used for storing components of the accelerators, beamlines and the building itself – turned into a concert hall for one day.

More than one hundred musicians took part at the event, including the choir of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the choir of the Faculty of Pharmacy from the Universitat of Barcelona. During one hour and a half, musicians faced a challenging repertoire that included pieces from Edward Elgar (Saint George's flag), Jean Sibelius (The Captive Queen) and Edvar Grieg (Suite Holdberg).

About 600 people enjoyed the successful experience of a concert of classical music in a scientific facility.
