During a year, they will combine dual training studies with a remunerated internship at the ALBA Synchrotron. The students will expand their knowledge in areas such as the development of multiplatform applications, administration of network computer systems, design and production of mechanical manufacturing, electrical maintenance, refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance, analysis and quality control or administration and finances.

ALBA is hosting dual vocational training students (who combine theory and practice at high schools and companies) since 2015. The fact that ALBA is a multidisciplinary facility, with great impact in different scientific and technological areas, results in an excellent environment for students to develop their capabilities. More than 70 students have done internships in ALBA.

These types of programs not only help training these youngsters, but it also creates a favorable environment for some of them to end up covering future open positions, as has happened before on several occasions.
