From January 26th to February 23rd, those researchers interested in performing an experiment at ALBA could submit a proposal.

This call is not including Macromolecular Crystallography (MX) proposals because BL13-XALOC beamline has already covered access during all 2015.

For this period, Long Term Proposals will be accepted but only under very restricted conditions:

• Maximum 2 years (2015 and 2016) with a re-evaluation after the annual experimental report. 
• Only one long term proposal maximum per end station will be awarded with beamtime. 
• The proposal must demonstrate long-term added value to ALBA (equipment remaining in the experimental station, development of new techniques, additional staff, etc.). A letter of intention shall be attached to the proposal submission form. If the proposal is chosen, a contract or agreement will be formalized. This agreement must be valid when the experiment begins. Otherwise, the proposal will automatically be updated to standard proposal.
