After a seven-years period in consumer electronics R+D in SONY Corporation,

Matilla arrived to ALBA in 2006

, at the very beginning of the project. He has been

the Electronics Section Head for the last ten year

and has strongly contributed to the concept, realization and operation of the Control and Electronics ALBA systems.

Now, he is taking over the excellent work done by his predecessor, David Fernández, to whom we wish all the best in his new adventure in ITER. Matilla does not need a learning period at ALBA, and we know he will continue with renewed enthusiasm his precious contribution to our facility.
