ALBA Synchrotron
The Spanish Government Delegate in Catalonia, Enric Millo, has visited today ALBA's facilities. During the visit, he has been accompanied by the director of ALBA Synchrotron, Caterina Biscari, the ex-chairman of the Executive Commission of ALBA, Ramon Pascual, and the Head of the Administration Division, Mariano Sazatornil.

Enric Millo has had the chance to see the experimental hall of ALBA as well as the eight different beamlines currently in operation. By the hand of Caterina Biscari and Ramon Pascual, he has been able to know how the synchrotron works and its wide range of applications in fields like medicine, electronics or chemistry.During the visit, Millo has talked with the scientists who were performing their experiments in the beamlines at that moment, so he has had the opportunity to ask them about their interesting researches. Moreover, he has congratulaed the researchers
and has highlighted the relevance of scientific infrastructure such as ALBA in increasing knowledge and scientific competitivity. Equally, ALBA managers have recognized the role of the administration in preserving quality research.
