The purpose of the Methodology Group is the development and implementation of cutting-edge methodologies to integrate sample preparation, data acquisition and diverse analytical techniques to provide solutions to more complex scientific cases where standard analysis is not enough.
Acting as a bridge, the idea is to combine the expertise from different techniques and research areas, such as material and life science areas, to define complete workflows that solve specific problems.

- Workflows Accessibility. Workflows are offered to academic users as an Instrument-like in the User Program, through the User Office call. In the case of Industry, they are a tailored service through Industrial Liaison Office.
- New Workflows development, including pilot projects with partnership/collaboration with academia/industrial targeting specific scientific challenges, competitive research grants, industry partnerships and research service.
- User support. Acting as Local contact during granted sessions and posterior analysis support, training and capacity-building programs and technical workshops and knowledge transfer initiatives.
