Using WinSCP

A popular free software client for Windows is WinSCP, in the following section you can find the configuration instructions.

Use the following parameters:

IM_RemoteAccess_Windows_1

IMPORTANT: In the latest version of WinSCP, when you change the port to 443 then it sometimes automatically changes the protocol from SFTP to WebDAV. Please make sure that in the end the protocol is set to SFTP and the port to 443.

On the first connection, you should accept the warning about the host key:

IM_RemoteAccess_Windows_2

After a successful connection, you can transfer your data from the remote location (right-hand window) to your local disk (left-hand window):

IM_RemoteAccess_Windows_3
