SACLA Japanese X-ray Laser has been operating 7 years providing intense X-ray beam to various users. Many scientific results have been made, including time-resolved crystallography (series femto-second crystallography) and solved dynamic nature of Photosystem proteins. The accelerator is running at very high gradient, as high as 40 MV/m daily. Fault rate is fairly low, which makes beam availability extremely high. Detailed design of the C -band accelerator will be explained.

At the end of the seminar the author will also provide information about his recent development of ocean wave energy converters, presently being tested at Maldives, providing energy for one of the shore resorts.
