A group of delegates from the council of Cerdanyola del Vallès, where ALBA is located, has visited today its facilities. During the visit, they have been accompanied by the director, Caterina Biscari, and the head of Accelerators, Francis Pérez.

The ALBA Synchrotron has welcomed the visit of the council of Cerdanyola del Vallès, led by the mayor, Carles Escolà, and the town councillors, chosen in the last municipal election.

During the visit, they had the chance to see the experimental hall of ALBA as well as the different beamlines, accompanied by Caterina Biscari and Francis Pérez. They also had the opportunity to comment the current projects of the ALBA Synchrotron such as the construction of new beamlines.

This visit is the result of the existing collaboration between both institutions and it is within the framework of the program for institutional relations of the ALBA synchrotron to increase awareness.
