ALBA has begun its upgrade project to transform the facility into a 4th generation light source: ALBA II, which will offer capabilities now unattainable in terms of resolution or detection levels, with a substantial increase in its brilliance, consistency and data analysis.

The project offers opportunities for the science and construction industries valued at €195 million. This session will focus particularly on opportunities related to infrastructure and buildings.

During the day, bilateral meetings with ALBA can be held in four areas:

• Accelerator and experimental beamlines
• Buildings
• Electrical and computing infrastructure
• Facilities Infrastructure

Meetings with CDTI will also be possible. All meetings will last 15 minutes and will be granted in order of request until the available time is filled.
